<Work in progress, will answer more questions later when not dead tired>

2) Views death as a necessary and permanent end. All living things eventually perish, then in turn fertilize the end and make room and resources for new life. She'd love to say that she didn't fear what is beyond death, but that is not the case. The reviving of Death Knights she thinks is natural and interrupting of the cycle. A perfect death to her would be to die peacefully of old age or illness, having a accomplished life. There isn't anything glorious in battle, and dying in it only proves you were weaker then your enemy, and your loved ones will have no rest. It's also a lot more painful. But passing peacefully and slowly would give everyone closure, she wouldn't want her friends and family to view her suffering like she did her mother, but it is better then going to war and never getting the change to accept the fate or say goodbye. A most terrible death, would be the one where you never come back and there is no corpse. She would want everyone to know, and get her burial.

3) The answer varies from situation and person, but I think a mix of the two would be best. The troops she commands need to like her, and respect her, but know she can and will put them in their place. Her foes should know her power and everyone around her. She's not one to be trifled with. In the time where a person she loves doesn't love her, she'd rather be hated as it would cause less pain and confusion to them. Hate is a easier emotion to feel and logical justify, along with less of a strain on said person. To have them start thinking about her in a different way all the sudden, and what she has done, confusing them. She wouldn't want that. Of course, in general, the feelings of being loved are nicer feeling, she'd put the crowd before herself.

5) I'd notify the local police/guards immediately to nullify the threat and take care of it before they do worse- or in the event somebody was killed or raped so they can never do it again. As a Sentinel, I'd do everything within my jurisdiction in the area to insure everyone's safety.

6) It depends if my character knew she was reincarnated, and the circumstances of the reincarnation. If she was raised as a Death Knight or a Warlock, or even a notorious criminal with a TOTAL black heart, she would have trouble coping and would despise what she had become, but known Elune did it for a reason. I can't say until she -is- reincarnated into such, but she may commit suicide having lived her share already, seeing she was doing best for the world by ridding the beast she'd become.

8)Xeqwena's village was small and she has no siblings, so her only friends as a child was her mother and Luna, who she had found and nursed back to health. She's always been pretty solitary- when drawing wrapped up in her own world, though less to the extent now of days. Luna is still with her as a companion.

9) If betrayed, and capturing and interrogating them is not a option, saying they'd go inform the enemy if we didn't interfere, Xeqwena would assassinate them to protect her Sisters and Home even if it cost her her seat. Keeping everyone alive is more important then being hated.

11) Xeqwena has no problems showing displeasure to something, particularly when it is something she disagrees with. When it comes to feelings of fondness and love, she has a hard time being open with it- feeling that others will tease or ridicule her, or that it will be exploited to her as a weakness. She'll tend to bury these deep down, and maybe even snuff it out except to a certain few she's found among the ranks. The fear of being seen as 'not fit' for her rank, or being told to break things off is one of her biggest fears. She has trouble admitting to being scared, except to those few. She needs to provide a strong example for the troops, and they'll panic if they notice she's in distress. Even if she isn't calm and collected, she makes attempts to always appear as such.

15) If Xeqwena could live anywhere, she'd live in Feralas in the humid warm weather surrounded by other night Elves, the wisps and close to the Sentinels, The magical Mt.Hyjal. I'd think it's every Night Elves dream to see and embrace the world tree for themselves along with have it out your window everyday. The lilies and moonwater all over, and the close shrines of all the aspects making it a very spiritual place. And one of great importance in their history. Her third choice would be Dalaran, ((more of a OOC one here)) and if you can ignore the Blood Elves and the arcane around it is a beautiful city and and a very relaxed nonchalant way of life. Staying in a tiny apartment with her love would be nice. Strolling the streets fruit shopping, window shopping along the way. Many great chefs live there, too. She enjoys her stay in Darnassus, but it is a bit to crowded and noisy for her. She loves looking at the architecture of other races and would GREATLY enjoy a small Wildhammer style home in Ashenvale, so she can be close to Darnassus for duty but have a quiet relaxed forest surrounding. Overall, she loves the cold chill of Winterspring best- and has taken to it from staying there most of her life. She knows the land and the rivers.

16) If Xeqwena could have one thing, she'd pick some fancy cooking high tech gear from the humans. She loves to cook, and while prefers traditional natural ways would like to experiment. Another thing she'd like, is strangely a short light weight night gown, adorned in lace and ruffles on top. Made of either black silk and deep maroon lace and ribbons, or a light blue mainly and snow white borders. Fancy and with spaghetti straps- much more comfortable then the stifling hot long hammy-down robes she owns. Or that which she'd bought cheaply. However never be able to afford having on made special for her, imported without a wrinkle and with the quality she'd want.

17) Takes thing as they come, her goal in life was to join the Sentinels and serve, and now that is more then completed. I think, from now on, she wants to do her very best and protect that which she cares about and give them a good quality of life.

18) Xeqwena only has her mother, has only ever had her. She doesn't remember her father, who her mother is very reluctant to talk about. He was gone by the time she was born. She sees her mother occasionally, and lives at her home in Winterspring with her when on vacation. Her mother is ill, and she thinks of her all the time, but somewhat rest assured that Sister Moonfanaria Stormrider is taking care of her. Her hometown of Starfall is in a somewhat disheveled state, but it is still functioning.

20) Xeq's most prized possession would be the satchel given to her by her mother she wears on her waist, if we mean material things, 2nd by her sketchbook. If we can include people, she'd be depressed to the point of not eating and shutting herself away for a period of time if her lover died, or go into that numb state. Eventually she'd come out with dark circles under her eyes, half the person she was. She'd be non-caring and emotionless, only seeking to swear no harm will befall the city or other Sisters, and to bring hell on whoever killed her. If she lost either of the two intimate objects, while dissapointed for a long time- she'd feel like she lost a piece of herself, or the last momento of her mother she may of had. With he state, and how she could pass anyday the satchel means a leg and a arm to her. She compulsively stitches it- and refuses to buy a new one even when some pockets become beyond repair.

Round 2, I guess. Everything is answered assuming the question applies to my character. Except the one directed at the player, of course.

1.) Your character needs a horse for a long journey. Describe the steed's size, coloring, build, training and personality. Would your character rather make use of an exotic mount and/or use an esoteric manner of travel?

Though she has used horses in the past for groundwork, Anna feels that a Saber is more useful as a mount. Her ideal choice would be Soba, her black war tiger, but any saber would do. If flight is required, however, it's easier to simply transform into her nightwing form, a trick she learned from a shaman some time ago.

2.) What are your character's views on death and dying? What would be the "perfect death"? What would be a shallow or meaningless death? If your character has already died and been raised, how has this experience changed your views?

Anna doesn't ave many views on death. Her main philosophy is that on a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero. She hasn't really gotten ideas about a perfect death yet, or a shallow/meaningless death either.

3.) From your character's viewpoint, which is better, being loved or feared? If the answer varies according to situation, please explain.

It's better to be loevd, unless in battle. Then it's better to be respected. Fear is the weapon of tyrants.

4.) Why is your character an adventurer? Is it the money? The magic? The power? The challenge? The excitement? The hand of Fate? Some combination of these?

Initially Anna became an adventurer to find a way to bring down Deathwing, or help in the doing of it. After that she wanted to see the world.

5.) You return to a comfortable way-side inn that has housed you in comfort numerous times over the years. You find that the kindly family has just been threatened, beaten and robbed. You have the means to track down the guilty bandits. What do you do? Would your answer change if members of the tavern-master's family were killed or raped?

Anna would most likely see to the family first, then track down the bandits later. What comes next would depend on the situation when she found them.

6.) Would your character be comfortable being reincarnated? Why (not)? (Remember, when a person is reincarnated, they often experience a fundamental shift in their personality. How would your character cope with this?)

I honestly have no idea if she would or not. I've never explored that idea.

7.) What was your character like as a child? How were you treated? Have you changed much? Was your character a late-bloomer, a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, a klutz or a rascal?

Anna was adopted, and very well-loved by her parents. She was always eager to learn as much as she could, so she was smart enough to be a nerd. She also trained with a bow from a young age, courtesy of her mom.

8.) Who were your character's childhood friends and companions? Were there strong bonds between you? Where are these friends now?

Since she lived in Auberdine with her family all her life, her friends were few. Other village children mostly, including a human boy named Joseph, whose parents were staying for a few seasons to study with the elves. Tragically, they're all dead--Joseph died of old age and the rest were killed when Auberdine was destroyed.

9.) What would provoke you to murder someone (not kill -- actually hunt down, stalk and slay without mercy)? This assumes the victim is of your same race, sex and social status.

I think the only thing that would actually drive Anna to murder would be if someone close to her were killed in a similar fashion.

10.) What are your character's strongest traits, personality-wise? What do others see in you? Do you agree? Do you as the character agree?

Well...it seems some of her strongest traits are as a soldier and in battle. In social situations and personality-wise she feels the way others tend to see her: as a kid trying to fit in.

11.) What emotions can your character express easily to others? Which are more difficult? Which do you hide from others?

It's not really easy for her to express much in the way of emotion. She tends to keep things quiet.

12.) What is your relationship with your god(s)? Are you devout? Do you feel that you have a personal relationship with the deity or more of an impersonal tie to the church and/or the social organization it represents?

Despite not speaking much, Anna is a devout believer in Elune and the Guardians. She prays every morning at the temple, often referring to Elune as "Mother." She is not associated with the Temple, however, and does not involve herself in its affairs.

13.) What were your thoughts the first time your character took a life (you may choose whether it was sentient or not)? How did this effect you?

It...didn't, really. I assumed she'd done before, and it's usually not as easy as just shooting something and moving on.

14.) What event or characteristic is your character most proud of? What meaning does this have in your life? Does your character display this pride openly or is it a personal matter?

In recent memory, I think becoming a Huntress probably did it. Anna always wanted to fit in, and be useful. Being chosen for officer status seemed to ring a bell--you had it all along. She isn't usually boastful or prideful of her new rank, but she does wear the rank feathers in her hair.

17.) What is your character's greatest ambition? Do you have life-goal? Do you merely follow where events lead you?

Anna's greatest ambition is probably being realized right now--to make a difference. She's really that gooey inside.

18.) What is your character's family like? Your parents, siblings, cousins, home town, etc. Do you still think about them? Do you still see them?

Her adoptive mother and father are the only family she's ever known outside of the military. Tragically, they're dead. She visits their grave often, however.

1.) Your character needs a horse for a long journey. Describe the steed's size, coloring, build, training and personality. Would your character rather make use of an exotic mount and/or use an esoteric manner of travel?

Thalean wouldn't really care about the color or personality. As long as the saber wasn't trying to maul him and was large enough to support his weight for a long time, he would take it. It would be more of a practicality thing. As gluttonous as he is for riches, he wouldn't need something exotic or extravagant to travel on.

2.) What are your character's views on death and dying? What would be the "perfect death"? What would be a shallow or meaningless death? If your character has already died and been raised, how has this experience changed your views?

His main views went from acceptance to fear. While I am not a fan of resurrection being taken so lightly in player stories, Thalean is the one character I have who technically has died. It was only for a few minutes, kind of like when someone in real life gets revived quickly by CPR or shocks to their heart. His mate was able to bring him back with the use of a Soul Stone. It's changed his view only in that he fears it even more, and does not feel like a whole person. Though that is much related to the way part of his soul was lost between leaving him at death and what part of it had been trapped in the stone being all that was there to transfer back into him.

3.) From your character's viewpoint, which is better, being loved or feared? If the answer varies according to situation, please explain.

Entirely dependent. He would prefer to be loved by his friends and his family, of course. But his line of work, for a long while, involved doing brutal things. In one of the other Character Development threads, I mentioned he was self conscious of the scars on his face. But as many people have told him they make him attractive or ugly, some have found them to be intimidating. If his enemies are afraid of him, that can be used to his advantage.

4.) Why is your character an adventurer? Is it the money? The magic? The power? The challenge? The excitement? The hand of Fate? Some combination of these?

Money, excitement and challenge. It started off as money. He learned quickly as a young man that he cared a lot about tangible, valuable goods. He liked getting paid. Then he realized he enjoyed the thrill of more difficult and dangerous jobs, so in that he began to continually challenge himself to do more daring things for the sake of impressing his clients and upping his worth. He thought they would pay more for a man who had been able to hunt down and kill some demons, which is how he ended up the scarred, crippled mess he is.

Thalean, while not entirely philanthropic, would go after those who had harmed people who had helped him. He would try to find ways to retrieve the family's belongings, or at least take something comparable in value back. If they had been killed or raped? He would have little trouble murdering their attackers once he got a hold of them.

6.) Would your character be comfortable being reincarnated? Why (not)? (Remember, when a person is reincarnated, they often experience a fundamental shift in their personality. How would your character cope with this?)

I don't know. This is something he would never expect to think about. He may not be super religious, but he does believe in the typical Night Elf spiritual staples, like dying meaning you are taken into the heavens to be among the stars with Elune.

7.) What was your character like as a child? How were you treated? Have you changed much? Was your character a late-bloomer, a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, a klutz or a rascal?

He was a little shit, much like he is now. He wasn't a bully or a wimp. He was strong and confident, overly-so. Bull headed and stubborn, and quick to show off in front of others. So..., yeah, pretty much a bit more intense about it, but how he is now.

8.) Who were your character's childhood friends and companions? Were there strong bonds between you? Where are these friends now?

Thalean had many friends growing up in his village. A boy named Calen was his best friend. He has long since stopped thinking of those days. When his family disowned him and he was exiled from his village for having been meddling with demons (they feared he would bring them down onto them for what he'd done), he lost contact with almost everyone he had once known.

9.) What would provoke you to murder someone (not kill -- actually hunt down, stalk and slay without mercy)? This assumes the victim is of your same race, sex and social status.

Someone harming his mate, his family, or doing something terrible to his friends. Like the question from above, if someone he knew was raped and he thought he could find the culprit, he would go after them.

10.) What are your character's strongest traits, personality-wise? What do others see in you? Do you agree? Do you as the character agree?

He's confident and sneaky, loud, opinionated, and often self-serving. These are the things people typically see first. He is also charming and his flirtatious behavior gets him labeled as some lothario, even now, when he is so in love and committed to his mate. I do understand why other characters react to him that way. Not knowing him well, it seems obvious when interactions with him are superficial. There is much more to his character, and I think people would be surprised to find he is deeper than those qualities he projects. It makes it fun for interactions.

Does Thalean agree? Yes and no. He recognizes his ego and his behavior in general. But since he knows himself better than anyone, he also knows when others are wrong about him. He is not nearly as selfish as he once was, and can actually be very kind. He is a flirt but is deeply in love with his mate. He can turn people off with his attitude in a professional sense, but is highly competent and capable, taking any work he has come to do very seriously.

11.) What emotions can your character express easily to others? Which are more difficult? Which do you hide from others?

Emotions? He actually seems pretty private when it comes to those, because it would hurt his tough-guy image to start getting sad or flowery. Annoyance and amuse are probably the two things he feels that are most readily projected.

12.) What is your relationship with your god(s)? Are you devout? Do you feel that you have a personal relationship with the deity or more of an impersonal tie to the church and/or the social organization it represents?

Elune is up there, doing her thing, but he's down on Azeroth doing his. He doesn't care or think of it much.

13.) What were your thoughts the first time your character took a life (you may choose whether it was sentient or not)? How did this effect you?

That it would be the gateway into him dealing with more dangerous work--there was no going back.

14.) What is event or characteristic is your character most proud of? What meaning does this have in your life? Does your character display this pride openly or is it a personal matter?

Impregnating his mate. It sounds pretty normal and mundane compared to the adventures and accomplishments he has, but I've always imagined that it is very difficult for Night Elves to conceive, just naturally, due to having been immortal for so long and being a species that, because of that, wouldn't need to produce too often. That his mate is with child so soon and that he had never expected to be a father to begin with are great accomplishments to him. He cares most about family, after all. He displays the pride pretty openly, letting his friends know.

15.) If you could live anywhere in the multiverse, where would it be and why? Would you bring others with you? If you are tied to one location, would you change the traits of that area?

Hyjal or Ashenvale, but if he could remove all the demonic residues and remains, that would be great.

16.) If you could have any one thing, what would it be? What purpose would you put it to?

He has most of what he wants.

17.) What is your character's greatest ambition? Do you have life-goal? Do you merely follow where events lead you?

He has mainly always followed where events lead him. His goal now, however, would be to be a good father.

18.) What is your character's family like? Your parents, siblings, cousins, home town, etc. Do you still think about them? Do you still see them?

They disowned him. He spent most of his life trying not to think about them, and was constantly changing his identity in search of his own. He does not see them, and has no idea if they are alive or dead.

19.) How does your character see others? What is your character's self-image in the eyes of others, as perceived by the character? Is this different than the player's viewpoint?

It depends on their attitude towards him. He will distinguish people as friends or ones he doesn't like fairly quickly, as most of us do. For Thalean, when it comes to others, he is self conscious. He feels ugly from what has happened to his face and mouth, and will trying to be loud to detract from it with his personality. His view isn't so different. Enough people have remarked about his scars and made it clear they find him ugly, which he laughs off or throws insults back to. But it does bother him. However, there have been others who found them attractive or tough. It is just easier to focus and worry for the bad.

20.) What is your character's most prized possession and why? What would you do if it was stolen? If it was lost? If it was willfully destroyed?

His collection of knives. If something happened to it, he'd be angry, but would get over it. He's well off enough to replace them.

21.) If your character had a wish, what would it be? Please be as long-winded as possible!

To be strong enough to protect those who matter to him against any and all threats, demons included.

22.) Why has your character taken your particular alignment? What relationship does your character feel towards others of his ethos? Is your character evangelistic in this regard?

I'm not sure, since I don't really understand the whole alignment thing.

23.) Who is your character's best friend(s)? Would you sacrifice your life for this/these people? What is the basis of your relationship?

His mate. He would sacrifice himself to save Ashke. They were lovers and then she became his family.

24.) If your character was suddenly catapulted onto 20th century Earth, how would you live? What profession would you pursue? Describe your probable life-style (vagabond, married with children, socialite, etc)?

Described this in the other thread already.

1.) Your character needs a horse for a long journey. Describe the steed's size, coloring, build, training and personality. Would your character rather make use of an exotic mount and/or use an esoteric manner of travel?

My character would use a Clydesdale. Strong, and rugged with a dun coat and white socks, the clydesdale would have the strength and stamina to get my character anywhere they needed to go.

2.) What are your character's views on death and dying? What would be the "perfect death"? What would be a shallow or meaningless death? If your character has already died and been raised, how has this experience changed your views?

Death is to join the stars that Elune has raised up, assuming her place among her people. A "perfect death" is to ultimately be avoided, but to die against a hated foe would be a glorious one.

3.) From your character's viewpoint, which is better, being loved or feared? If the answer varies according to situation, please explain.

As a Sentinel she views it to be best to be loved by her friends, and feared by her enemies. Loved by her friends because the bonds of a comrade in arms are nothing to be taken lightyl and must be treasured. Feared, because fear can often cause an enemy to rethink a battle and retreat...savign lives by reputation.

4.) Why is your character an adventurer? Is it the money? The magic? The power? The challenge? The excitement? The hand of Fate? Some combination of these?

Asa is an adventurer because she no longer has a place to call home. Due to her curious nature however, the excitement often masks her longing for home.

Asa would track down the guilty bandits and do the same unto them. Beat and rob them and return the stolen items to the family of the inn, restoring balance to the community, without unnecessarily taking lives. Woe unto those who commit the sin again, however.

6.) Would your character be comfortable being reincarnated? Why (not)? (Remember, when a person is reincarnated, they often experience a fundamental shift in their personality. How would your character cope with this?)

She would be, if it means to serve kith and kin once more, even with a change to her personality, or even to her body, she would cope as she always has: With Service.

7.) What was your character like as a child? How were you treated? Have you changed much? Was your character a late-bloomer, a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, a klutz or a rascal?

8.) Who were your character's childhood friends and companions? Were there strong bonds between you? Where are these friends now?

Peyu, her nightsabe rhas been her constant companion....others, at the moment are shadows, her memories incomplete, names having emotional but not logical meaning.

9.) What would provoke you to murder someone (not kill -- actually hunt down, stalk and slay without mercy)? This assumes the victim is of your same race, sex and social status.

A severe upset in the balance. A known necromancer or practicer of unsactioned dark arts or someone attempting to bring demonic corruption into the world.

10.) What are your character's strongest traits, personality-wise? What do others see in you? Do you agree? Do you as the character agree?

Loyalty is her strongest trait personality wise. Once she forms a bond with her cadre, she does her utmost to keep it iron-tight. Others may see her as stoic and quiet, and Asa would agree with that assessment, always one who prefers to listen when she has nothing to say instead of fill the air with banter.

11.) What emotions can your character express easily to others? Which are more difficult? Which do you hide from others?

Joy and Anger, two sides of the same coin are the most easily displayed, while grief, and romantic feelings are the most difficult, and she tries her hardest not to burden others with her grief.

12.) What is your relationship with your god(s)? Are you devout? Do you feel that you have a personal relationship with the deity or more of an impersonal tie to the church and/or the social organization it represents?

Asa finds her comfort from the pantheon not in th great temple of ELune but in the quiet moments between battles, or while on station or guard duty. In the sounds around her she imagines the stories of the pantheon to while away the time, paying her respects while doing her duty.

13.) What were your thoughts the first time your character took a life (you may choose whether it was sentient or not)? How did this effect you?

That itr served a purpose.

Ashenvale. It has it's own quiet serenity, I would bring her friends with her.

16.) If you could have any one thing, what would it be? What purpose would you put it to?

A forge of her very own. She has used others, or has been assigned to a military-owned forge, but has never had one of her own. It is one of her secret aspirations to lay down her burdens and become an artisan, even if her temperment isn't easily adjusted to it.

17.) What is your character's greatest ambition? Do you have life-goal? Do you merely follow where events lead you?

Her life goal is to find out what happened to her previous Cadre and avenge them, however lately she has found herself moving where events lead her, flowing on the streams of occurence.

18.) What is your character's family like? Your parents, siblings, cousins, home town, etc. Do you still think about them? Do you still see them?

She wished she knew.

19.) How does your character see others? What is your character's self-image in the eyes of others, as perceived by the character? Is this different than the player's viewpoint?

She views other Kal'dorei as many do, as Sisters and Brothers. Comrades in arms against the twilight of their races existence. As she is percieved by others, she attempts to project strength and loyalty, a bulwark and shield for her sisters.

20.) What is your character's most prized possession and why? What would you do if it was stolen? If it was lost? If it was willfully destroyed?

Her rpized posession is her shield. Made of Titansteel, it was gifted to her from one of the few dwarves she considers friends in this new era, a gift of service.

21.) If your character had a wish, what would it be? Please be as long-winded as possible!

If Asa had one wish, it is a secret one. From afar she has viewed the dragons, and even through their ambassadors has done work for them as many before her have done. However, she wishes...to be one. To be so powerful and majestic, and yet bound to such great purpose. It is that freedom and power that Asa longs for deepw ithin herself. She finds it absurd however and never speaks of it for fear of the ridicule that would come from it. So she keep sher little drawings to herself.

22.) Why has your character taken your particular alignment? What relationship does your character feel towards others of his ethos? Is your character evangelistic in this regard?

While her ethos holds her thoughout the night, she realizes everyone is an individual and does not attempt to sway them to her own view, realizing that in the end, everyone is needed to fight against the coming night.

23.) Who is your character's best friend(s)? Would you sacrifice your life for this/these people? What is the basis of your relationship?

At the moment, her best friend is Peyu....her others are lost, or have not been made yet.

24.) If your character was suddenly catapulted onto 20th century Earth, how would you live? What profession would you pursue? Describe your probable life-style (vagabond, married with children, socialite, etc)?

I believe she would persue the life of a soldier as she does in game, she is not one to settle down and marry however, and might leave a trail of broken hearts and promises.
