We have received our marching orders from General Feathermoon: Our regiment is soon to begin its traditional march across western Kalimdor to Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas.
We will depart from Lor'danel on the 10th day of this month. This trek will be by ground routes only, so expect to be away from Darnassus for several weeks.
Make certain you have prepared enough equipment and supplies for an extended journey, and that your nightsabers are in fine and fit condition. Along the way we will be stopping at various Kaldorei towns and outposts, giving them whatever aid they may require.
Be it known, Sentinels, that this march is no light-hearted holiday excursion. You may expect training exercises, patrols, instruction, and perhaps even combat missions.
All questions may be forwarded to myself or any of the Cadre's officers.
Starting on the 10th of this month, our guild will be making it's traditional yearly trek to Feralas to meet with General Feathermoon. This trip will be by nightsaber only, and at a walking pace the entire way.
The plan calls for us to march each Saturday evening and (depending on my work schedule) Monday or Tuesday evening, stopping to make camp at various Kaldorei towns and outposts along the route. We will then roleplay in that area until we move on again, spending three to four days at each camp. I expect this to take six or seven weeks to complete the journey, depending on our pace.
Due to the nature of this event, those characters participating will be required to be ICly "on the march" for the entire time. Your character -might- return ICly to Darnassus, but only with good reason and the permission of the Commander or her officers. You are free to come and go OOCly as you wish, of course.
This is a fun opportunity to get us away from Darnassus and doing some immersive world roleplay for an extended period of time. Members are strongly encouraged to host their own trek-related events along the way.
I've hosted this for five years now, and each time it has been great fun and great opportunity for world RP. Please let me know if you have any questions!))
A little kindness goes a long way.

Never-Ending Nightmare story As Niladrys came to the Grove, she took a heavy sigh. Not far from this place was where she was forced to bury her saber. Sarn, the first saber she ever had ridden, had perished when he had slipped on the wet rocks near the ravine. As desperate as Nila could have been, Sarn would soon be lost forever. They had then buried him in this grove, hoping he would rest in peace.
Nila was wrong... As she took several of her friends to go pray at his grave and give him honor for his sacrifice, the spirit of her long passed saber awakened. Warning her and the others of an evil stirring under the grove, the saber quickly vanished leaving with the words," Remove the corruption and I will be free"
After Niladrys gained information on the location of the underground chamber from the local wildlife, she called on several of her sisters to investigate. Once everyone had assembled, she brought them to the best location to find the cave mouth
Once inside, all they could see was a dimly lit cave with skeletons littering the floor, strange things poking the edges of their vision and the smells of rotting flesh, decay and stagnant air.
As they descended further in, they saw the first group of whatever beast laid inside. A small group of three void spawns had stumbled on them and were poised to attack. However, as each Sentinel looked upon the beasts, they in turn each saw something different. It appeared they only could see their worst fear in the beasts, rather than the beast itself.
After killing two of the creatures, the third ran away. Confused and concerned what was happening, they ventured further into the expansive caves, their vision getting darker and darker as light began to fade. After what seemed like an hour, they reached a strange purple mist liking the bottom of the floor. As they stepped into the mist however, they found themselves unable to distiguish friend from foe. Only Helyneah remained unaffected. With some luck, and a few swipes at each other though, they soon regained their sanity and realized the true danger of this place.
Though now more worried than ever, the group decided it was best to try and remove the head of this corruption before it spread to their sisters above and then consumes the area around it. Pushing past the mist and praying to Elune to keep their remaining sanity in check, they continued on. As the darkness creeped ever inward, they finally found the end of the cave. It was caked with strange yellow stones and the air hung with a sickly green hue. Their was a strange void beast hovering over a rune in the ground. In the middle was Sarn, and flanking this Void thing was two Satyrs and a small army of void tentacles. Once again, the enemies in front of the Sentinels did not stay as it looked, but morphed into each sister's worst fear. Nila saw demons, another sister saw undead... it was horrifying.
As the battle raged on, Sister Rainy sadly found herself quickly taken over by the nightmare and began to attack her own sisters. Only once the battle ended did everyone come back to their senses. However, Helyneah also found herself poisoned... as they felt the nightmare trying to consume them once and for all, they ran for their lives out of the cave. However, when they reached the exit, they found themselves near the vortex... what did this all mean? They had many questions, but with the main corruption defeated, they raced home to heal up and live another day.
Niladrys spent the rest of her night alerting the circle of the corruption she and her sisters had seen. Now hoping the Cenarion Circle would cleanse the corruption, Nila went to sleep.
In the morning, she went to talk to the spirit of her beloved saber. In shock he smiled as he re-materialized and said," Bound no longer to the place I am... come and follow you is my plan. I will venture the land and stay by your side, for this dream will never hide. I will take up arms as the Ancient as asked, and protect you all til the end is my eternal task." With his rather rhythmic vow, his body seemed to shimmer with pure power til he finally became solid enough to stay by his Huntresses side again.
There are no bindings I cannot escape. No traps I cannot evade. No doors I cannot open. I am coming for you. Pleasant Dreams. - D&D
