Hooray for Satira, otherwise known as me! I hope my prize is Kali bursting out of a giant cake in the nude while singing "Happy birthday Mr. President'. Or, failing that, donuts. :P

Idk, I wish I could log in to find out. Stupid effing maintenance. Maintenance is dumb! Dumb dumb maintenance!>:)

Seriously though, I do want to find out. I'm shocked because I never win anything usually.

Unfortunately I could not find a cake large enough to fit Kaliessa inside.:(

But I think you'll still enjoy your prize. You will find instructions for claiming it in your mailbox the next time you log on.

I don't know... If I had a cake in which Kali burst out of I'd be quite scared and shocked...

The prize drawing for February has started!

Our last two winners each received an adorable little Teldrassil Sproutling pet. This month, we have something from the Blizzard online pet store: the baby moonkin. It dances! It plants flowers! It's cute as a button!3(

The drawing will close Tuesday at 1:30 pm (CST). Good luck to all who enter!

((As always, those who have already won, please abstain from submitting your name, so other members have a chance to win.))

YAY! Grats!
Lorethia - sweet, overly caring, and a touch naive. As The light of the Moon shines equally on all, so does Elune's love, and I, a messenger of that love.

Natalah Moonseer - A previous Commander of a mix raced unit; she has adapted customs from other races. I have had glory in battle; now I must find peace in my mind.

Not good enough people... >.<
Adell and I were two, and another two are Lore and Lara who aren't even in game.

You're not telling me we only have 10 active members on the forum are you? Please?

One thing this monthly event lets us do is monitor traffic on the website. And as Keri pointed out, the number of sign-ups for these drawings have been lower than we had hoped for. Unfortunately it seems to be the same few members that participate each month, and are regulars on these forms.

Perhaps I should extend the time frame for submissions farther next month?

I thought four days should be a good window of opportunity for people to see the drawing was going on and sign up. Would a full week be more reasonable? I really don't want to run the drawing longer than that.

From my experience with guilds in WoW, a strong forum community translates to a strong, well-informed, and close-knit guild. Some members tend to embrace it, some are ambivalent about it, and some will not take that extra minute too see what's going on no matter the amount of cajoling.

Once again though, this monthly drawing is meant to reward those of you who are involved and do take the extra time to participate on this wonderful site. And to those of you who are making that extra effort to be involved, whether you have won something in the drawing or not, thank you!

I'd think a full week would be fair. Some people can only dedicate time on certain days, which a 4-day window could end up skipping.
